Director of Congregational Faith Life

Director of Congregational Faith Life

Recently, the staff welcomed Morgan Simmons as the Director of Congregational Faith Life as a part of the Messiah family! Morgan was born and raised in Mount Airy, Maryland. She moved to Nebraska in August of 2013 to start her undergraduate degree at Midland University. While studying Youth and Family Ministry, Morgan became very involved with campus ministries, choir, theater and with multiple youth programs in Fremont.  And in the summers, Morgan went back to Maryland to work at her home camp, Mar­LuRidge Summer Camp as a counselor and the Director of Social Justice.  Morgan plans to graduate in December from Midland and to work here at Messiah full­time.  There are no words to describe the excitement Morgan is feeling as she learns more about tradition and growth that Messiah and its members have witnessed. Also to learn more about how the congregation can continue to serve the urban area they are surrounded in. Please stop by the church office to welcome Morgan and introduce yourself!
