Chuck Nash, Contemporary Worship Leader

Chuck leads the contemporary music team for the 11:00 service at Messiah. Chuck comes to Messiah from Rejoice Lutheran in Omaha where he has led the contemporary group for many years. Chuck performs with the Christian band, Celebrate, from Sioux City , Iowa . Chuck enjoys working with youth and is an adult sponsor for many of their trips. This summer will mark the 15th Group Work Camp Foundations mission trip and the 10th in which he has led the music program. Prior to relocating to Omaha , in 1986, Chuck led contemporary worship music for St. Mark Lutheran in Sioux City , Iowa and Trinity Lutheran in Spencer , Iowa . Chuck received a BA in business administration from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake , Iowa and an MA in management from Bellevue University in Omaha . Chuck and his wife, Julie, are both retired from Qwest Communications. They enjoy grandkids, hockey, fishing, and, of course, music.
