CHILDREN'S MINISTRY Cradle Roll

Children are a part of the Messiah family right from birth. At their baptism, they are added to the Cradle Roll and a sheep is added to Jesus' flock on our Cradle Roll quilt. Each child receives a special Faith Box where they can keep items related to the significant milestones in their faith walk like the candle and certificate from their baptism.

On the anniversary of the Baptism of Our Lord in January, all the children baptized during the previous year join with their families for a Baptism Reunion. Over a meal and playtime, they remember the babies' baptisms, get to know one, and learn new ways to help foster their children's faith.

From baptism until graduation from the Cradle Roll at age three, Kim Kuncl, our Cradle Roll coordinator, will send them regular mailings that include cards to celebrate their birthdays and baptism anniversaries and books for their parents to share with them as they learn the stories of Jesus.
