2018 HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE RECOGNITION:
HOLEY HUCKEBY, daughter of Robert and Shelly Huckeby, will be graduating from Omaha South High School. Holey is on the Honor Roll and is a member of National Honor Society.
AUTUMN MULLER, daughter of Scott and Valerie Muller, will be graduating from Westside High School where she was on the Varsity Swim Team, Art Club, German Club, and National Honor Society. She also participated in Swim Omaha. This summer Autumn will again work as a Lifeguard at Westridge Pool and compete on their swim team. Autumn will be attending UNO in the fall where she plans on majoring in Education with an emphasis in Art.
MARK ROY, son of Monte and Julie Roy, will be graduating from Ralston High School. Mark was involved in DECA, National Honors Society, Rambassadors, was a Senior Class Officer, played Varsity Baseball, and had Academic distinction. He has received the Morningside Trustee Scholarship, Robert Foehlinger Memorial Scholarship and UNL/UNO Regents Scholarship. Mark plans on majoring in Accounting at Morningside College and taking the CPA exam after graduation.
BOULIS TOP LOY, son of Danial Top Loy and Nyakong Machougo, will be graduating from Ralston High School. He plans on attending UNO and major in either Business or Computer Science in the fall.
2018 COLLEGE GRADUATE RECOGNITION:
JEFF GARST, son of Kurt and Donna Garst, will graduate in August from UNO with a Masters Degree in Critical Thinking. He is an English teacher and debate coach at Ralston High School. He is also pursuing a Masters Degree in English at UNO.
ALYSSA MALLEY, daughter of Marty and Pam Malley, will graduate in May from University of Nebraska Medical Center as an MD, and plans to pursue a residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology at the University of Hawaii.
CORY PLUGGE, son of Guy and Kristie Plugge, will be graduating in May from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, minor in Psychology. He has secured a position for the fall with RSM, an accounting firm in Omaha. Cory will be busy this summer studying for the CPA.
ELIZABETH PRUSHA, will be graduating with a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math from UNO on May 4.
HOPE SCHREINER, daughter of Randy and Pam Schreiner, will be graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing with a Minor in English. She is planning on working in the field of publishing/copy-editing or journalism.
JAYME WIEDERIN, will graduate from University of Nebraska-Lincoln on May 4, 2018 with a M.Ed. Special Education, Endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education
She will be employed with Papillion-LaVista Schools District starting in August.
