We believe that a church should be warm, welcoming and fun! It should be a place where you meet God through friendships, worship, study and service.
The church should be a place where you can discover God’s plan for your life in a way that makes sense and is relevant.
At Messiah, we preach God’s unconditional acceptance and love — GRACE!
And we will help you learn how to respond to that love with your every day life. We teach the Bible.
At Messiah we believe that worshiping and praising God is one of the most important things you can do.
Therefore, we believe that worship, no matter the style should be lively, moving, and even fun. We offer two distinct styles of worship.
The 8:30 service is the traditional liturgy of the Lutheran Church, using the resources of the “Lutheran Book of Worship” and “With One Voice”.
The music sung spans a large variety from classical to American gospel to some contemporary.
The 11:00 worship service, while following a regular order of service, uses contemporary music
almost exclusively and spoken liturgy that are in an everyday, easy to understand language.
