We value families at Messiah! There are many opportunities available for children and the whole family, including Sunday School, Ageless Faith, Bountiful Beginnings, Milestone Ministry, and monthly fellowship events!

 

 

 

Faith Formation Resources 

Children in Worship 

Children are always welcome in worship! At Messiah, we understand that children don't always sit still! To engage your child in worship, please check out our Praygroud in the front of the Sanctuary. Reccommend for ages 6 and under, young children can play with quiet toys that are available each week during worship. 

For older kids, check out our worship bags located in the lobby, as well as our youth bulletins. 

5th and 6th graders, or older, are invited to help lead worship by signing-up to acolyte/usher or read Scripture. If you want to sign-up, please click the button below. Once you are signed-up, more information will go out regarding specific instructions.

Sunday School | Back Sept. 18th!

Education hour starts at 9:45am. Little Disciples (3yrs.-K) are dropped off downstairs in their room by parents. Older kids (1st-6th grade) are located in the Education Wing. Our curriculum, Holy Moly, engages children through videos, lessons and crafts.

Ageless Faith 

Ageless Faith is held on the 2nd Sunday of each month in the Fellowship Hall. Ageless Faith helps to bridge the gap between generations by doing Sunday School with all ages intermingled! This is a great way for parents and grandparents to experience what the kids see in Sunday School, as well as connect in their faith together. 

No need to register, we will see you there! 

Bountiful Beginnings 

Bountiful Beginnings is a time for parents and their young chidren to connect through faith and relationships with others! Held on the 4th Sunday of the month in our Quiet Room, Bountiful Beginnings starts with a board book that highlights a different topic for parents with young child, like bedtime routines, or how God made feelings. Parents then can share about how that topic relates to their families lifestyle and faith life. 

Milestone Ministry 

Children are entitled to many milestones in their faith life including Baptism, Holy Communion, Receiving of the Bible, and others before moving on to their Affirmation in Baptism through Confirmation. By registering for Sunday school, your child will be invited to participate in these Milestones when they are of age!

Fellowship Events 

Each month there is a new fellowship event for children and families. Join us for things like Trunk or Treat, Easter Egg Hunt, Advent Fair, and outings like trampoline parks and Vala's Pumpkin Patch.
